w7 discussion humane/inhumane ways to kill

Humans have gone between trying to find the most painful, inhumane ways to kill, and how to kill with the least amount of suffering. The guillotine, believe it or not, was designed to be a humane way to execute people. There is, of course, a whole philosophical debate about the morality of the death penalty. This is not the forum for that. It is possible to assess a method of execution without discussing the moral or philosophical issues involved. I look forward to reading your thoughts on this!
