On the sample part, the idea is to study quinol derivatives because they have redox centers, and can undergo intra-proton transfers. Intra-proton transfers are not yet well understood, and have application in drugs.

On the technical part, the idea is to review each instrument and describe how it works, what data is acquired, and what information can be extracted from this data.
