This is about queer studies. write a compare and contrast essay.The prompt is: compare a contemporary queer text to a 20th century one, using this comparison to compare or contrast understandings of gender and sexuality in the 2 different historical contexts. (you can choose 2 different poems. Billy ray belcourt vs audre lorde) I have attachd the rubric and also the syllabus where you can see some of the materials to use (it is under readings/recommended readings). I have also added my notes. it would be great if th two texts (if not choosing te poets i recommend) to be about gender idenity as being a POC.
