Source Analysis

In one double-spaced page, describe your primary source. Imagine that your audience is a curious, smart 8th-grader. What would you tell them about the image that would help them make sense of it?Here are some general questions that you should probably address:• What is the title of this document (if it has one)? How are going to refer to it while talking about it?• Who authored this? What can we say about the person who made it? • What does the letter/map/book/etc. tell us about the early colonization of the New World?• Primary sources always leave out certain. Which perspective does this primary source ignore?
