My Code of Ethics

This week’s paper will be written in two parts. Please complete Part 1 before moving onto Part 2.

Part 1: Before exploring the professional code of ethics for your future career write your own code of ethics. Brainstorm the issues that you believe are most important and then list those issues as well as how each should be addressed.

Part 2: Based on your future career goals locate the code of ethics that will be most applicable and take a few minutes to read through the code. Once you have read through them compare and contract those to your own code written in part 1. Is there anything that surprised your or that you did not think about when writing your own code? What aspects of your code would you change now that you have read the professional code of ethics?

This paper should be 2-3 pages double spaced and written in proper APA format. In addition to the minimum page count (i.e. 2 pages and 1 line minimum) you should also include a cover page and a reference page in APA format. Additionally use a minimum of one additional source outside of your textbook to support your points.
