• An individual assessment
• In the form of a 2,000 word (+/- 10%) essay
• You must answer BOTH Question 1 and Question 2
The assignment engages with the role of learning and development for individuals, organisations and societies, engaging with reflective practice, the methods and processes that can be used when designing learning and development and the impact of learning and development at both a national and international level. This assignment will engage with the following learning outcomes for this module:
2: Explore the contribution of reflective practice to skills and career development.
3: Discuss the impact of learning and development at, and for, work and critically evaluate the methods and processes involved.
4: Critically evaluate the impact of learning and development on society and discuss key national and global issues in learning and development.
This coursework takes the form of two essay questions. Each question should be answered individually, but the document you submit MUST include answers for BOTH Question 1 and Question 2.
Question 1 (50% of mark):
Discuss the potential impact of learning and development on individuals, organisations and society. Ensure your answer considers each equally.
Question 2 (50% of mark):

Please note that Question 1 will constitute 50% of the mark for this assignment, while Question 2 will constitute 50% of the mark for this assignment. This should be taken into account when considering how many words to allocate to each section, though you do have flexibility on this point.
