Directions: Create an annotated bibliography entry for each of the three sources that you found for the Finding and Locating Sources assignment. IMPORTANT: You are not finding new sources. You are using the same three sources from last week’s assignment!

That means for this assignment you will have an entry for:

• One academic journal from an EMCC library database. (This type of source is also sometimes called a scholarly journal or peer-reviewed journal.)

• One open-web source, and it must be found on a .edu or .gov domain. Be sure that you have your open-web source approved before submitting it for the annotated bibliography. You will have a comment in your graded Locating and Finding Sources assignment that will tell you if your open-web source was approved.

• One other source from an EMCC library database: this could be another academic journal, a news article, a video, an e-book, a podcast. As long as it is found on an EMCC library database, you are good!

Note: You will NOT create an entry for the news article from NPR, Mother Jones, or The Atlantic.

Each annotated bibliography entry must contain the following information:

• APA reference citation

• A 100-word summary of the article that highlights the main points of the article

• A 3-5 sentence explanation that identifies how the source helps to answer your research question

Also, be sure that the assignment is written in third person point of view.
