Endangered Species: Irrawaddy Dolphins

Class Participation B (CPB). The student will complete 5 biology current events reports (see Details below) and turn them on the due date identified as CLASS PARTICIPATION B in the Course Schedule of the course syllabus. Please include all 5 reports in one Word document; do not sent 5 individual files. Be sure to post the CPA assignment to D2L (under Assessments / Assignments tab on the course homepage) by the date/time due. Details.  The student will search for a BIOLOGY CURRENT NEWS ITEM. These events can be from on-line or paper sources.  the CURRENT NEWS ITEM MUST BE DOCUMENTED AS TO ITS TITLE, AUTHOR(S), AND SOURCE so that the instructor can easily track down the resource.  BE SURE TO paste a link in your Word file for each article.  Each current news report MUST DOCUMENT THE CONTENT of the article IN THE STUDENT’S OWN WORDS.  The student must include ONE RELEVANT QUOTE FROM THE ARTICLE that alludes to the content of the article.  Finally, the student must COMMENT ON THE RELEVANCY OR IMPORTANCE OF THE ARTICLE.
