DISCUSSION

Read the articles assigned. Most are taken from recent media, not academic sources. Then answer the following questions: 

 1) What is the academic definition of Critical Race Theory? (Donner, p 262) 

 2) Do the new laws about CRT around the country address problems with CRT? 

 3) Have you personally ever felt “discomfort” in the topics you learned or are learning in school? What was your response to that discomfort? Was the experience a negative one?

 Post your response by Tuesday night. Respond to one of your classmate’s posts by Wednesday night by asking a question of clarification or disagreeing with their point of view. Remember, if you are asked a question before 5pm on Wednesday, you must respond in order to receive full credit for the discussion.
