Cultural Must

This week we have read a chapter that focuses on mental health issues and trauma of various ethnic groups. Understanding the cultural needs of the various populations is essential in providing care. After viewing each video (See below), choose one group and discuss in terms of a “cultural must” (something the practitioner must be aware of that is culturally specific to their chosen group) in working with an individual from a mental health perspective. In your response make sure you name the group, the mental health issue and the traumatic reference (e.g. ethnic conflict, genocide, etc.). You may reference a case presented in the chapters.  Your initial response is due by Wednesday.
