As a collaborative team, your PLC will review the most common emotional and behavioral disorders, as well as prevention and intervention strategies. The school administrator has requested you compile your research and recommendations into a presentation to share at an upcoming professional development day. 

 Create an presentation that provides information for the following categories of disordered behavior: 

•  Attention and activity disorders

Include the following information for each category:

•  Names and definitions of disorders included 

Characteristics of learners in the following domains: 

• Social and emotional 
• Personality 
• Learning 
•  Medication options and their effects 
• Educational implications
•  Prevention and intervention strategies
