 When individuals behave in a disturbing way, we tend to want to know why they are behaving that way. In many instances, we want to understand what is wrong and see if there is something or someone to blame. With EBD (Emotional Behavior Disorder), there are several causal factors that are typically identified or suspected, and in almost all cases, they are interrelated and work together. It is often assumed that knowing a cause may help us better find a way to handle it. As a special educator, it may help your work with learners that have EBD if you understand the relationship between presumed causal factors and a child’s behavior. 

 Write a 350- to 525-word paper that addresses the following: 

Causal factors and how they are interrelated, including: 

• Biology 
• Health issues 
• Cultural 
• Family 
• Implications of assessing blame 
• Relationship of causal factors to intervention(s)
