Research paper with internal documentation and a bibliography of at least seven sources in Your sources in parentheses are located at the end of the sentence and placed inside the period. Look at the sample paper and model it.
Your paper itself will be a blend of scholarship and your own opinions and ideas. It must be five-seven double-spaced pages in length (exclusive of the bibliography), not be an example of plagiarism, and should include parenthetical documentation (crediting your sources within the body of your paper in parentheses). Your sources in parentheses are located at the end of the sentence and placed inside the period. Look at the sample paper and model it.
The last part of your paper is the bibliography of at least seven sources. Follow MLA guidelines for it. You also have a sample bibliography loaded in this week’s module. If you submitted your working bibliography when it was due, all you have to do is make corrections, additions, and/or deletions to it. Remember that the sources listed in the bibliography should also be cited in your paper either directly or through parenthetical documentation.
MLA format information is available in Microsoft Word and on many internet sites. OWL (Online Writing Lab) at Purdue University is a good source. Use current guidelines, those after 2016.
The research paper project assignments (working bibliography, sentence outline, and paper with bibliography) count 20% of your final grade. Your research paper should be checked by Tutor.com before submission.
